Chandra Kuu had been training her body to outrun gravity.
The 2076 Summer Parkour Games were only months away, and every dawn found her scaling steel rails, leaping between rooftops, and landing barefoot on concrete with the kind of control most people only saw in gravity simulators. Victory wasn’t just a dream—it was a promise she had made to herself.
But winter changed everything.
A last-minute trip to the Ohio Hills with her father—whose contracting business was slipping beneath rising debts—pulled her away from the city and into a quiet stretch of frozen backroads and dark forests. It was meant to be temporary. Rest. Reset. Regroup.
Instead, it became the beginning of something much larger.
Alongside her closest allies—Ma’Daïs of DAI Enterprises, whose family built things that bent the laws of physics, and Dabster, a teenage tech prodigy who could coax secrets out of any machine—Chandra stumbled upon something that should not have existed. A gem.
It had fallen from the sky. Not shattered. Not burned. Not broken. Waiting.
Its surface shimmered with a quiet, shifting glow that seemed to respond to their breathing, their movement… their presence. And in that instant, Chandra felt something she couldn’t explain—an awareness that the object did not simply belong to the sky. It belonged to her.
Yet with that certainty came fear.
Because whatever the artifact was, it carried echoes of her family’s past—secrets buried long before she was born. Secrets capable of unraveling everything she thought she knew about herself, her father, and her future.
They were not alone.
High above them, unseen satellites recalculated orbital paths. Black-ops drones shifted course. And a space-age corporation known only as N.E.M.E.S.I.S.—Non-Terrestrial Elimination & Monitoring Surveillance Intelligence System—activated retrieval protocols designed for things that were never meant to fall into human hands.
They did not study anomalies.
They erased them.
Now Chandra and her friends stand at the center of a quiet war being waged in the upper atmosphere—a war that forces them to choose between loyalty and survival, truth and safety, destiny and freedom.
With the sky hunting them and the past closing in, one question remains:
Will they claim their future…
—or be erased from it?
